Located in Silvassa nearest to Vapi and Bhilad Railway stations, Daman Ganga Valley Resort is spread over 11 acres of land and an almost 150 km drive from Mumbai. All it has to offer to you are scenic green roads, views of breathtaking properties and beautiful waterfront.
It is basically nature being music to your eyes.
A train ride too offers an equal dose of the humble green forests, if not more. Now knowing all this should drive you towards this place (literally, because it happened to us too) but if that wasn’t enough, the following qualities of this place and the photos showing exactly how much greenery we’re talking about should do the job.
Daman Ganga Valley Resorts have been in business for almost 20 years now. The resort spreads over 11 acres of land surrounded by abundant green forests and is near the banks of river Damanganga.
What it has to offer is an environment that favours any and every body. A bar and a restaurant (Olive Restaurant) which is centrally air-conditioned, but also a Courtyard Restaurant just in case there’s need of that open air in the hills for the romantic aura, a getaway party, birthdays or maybe just a simple candlelit dinner date. There is a salient pathway for those lazy mornings where you notice that there’s no sound of the streets, the cars, or the trains; just the sound of the silent nature around you. And if you wish to, you can attain all this luxury sitting in your room by just calling room service, and adore the balcony view of mountains, the pool area, and the Courtyard with your comfort. It all gives a Portugal vibes - and yes, you will love it!
It is considered an exquisite location for wedding events, has lavish huge open grounds with and a fancy high ceiling banquet hall. These grounds can accommodate over a mini-concert worth of people on them, that is 2000 people, that is if you want to call that many people to your wedding, then that’s fine! Because the guests have nothing to complain about.
The visitors will be able to take advantage of many luxurious facilities which include: dining at restaurants such as Olive Restaurant and also witnessing a ‘Live Kitchen’. The service provided by them is a delight and that’s a guarantee. The staff, from reception, to ground staff, to room service were up to the mark and always a step ahead of any basic instructions.

Now you can’t go to a casino full of gangsters here, but there’s a pool table and table tennis to show off your skills and make bets with your friends (our money’s on you).
If you have come with your family, there are a whole bunch of indoor, outdoor and electronic games you can play (they support winning so if you cheat a little bit, they’ll cover). But, if you want to, you can chill like no other person has ever chilled, for there is - are you ready? - the facility - ready? - of - here it comes! - WiFi!!! It’s in the fully furnished rooms, the reception area, the clean and bright bathrooms, the closet, the balcony, your spic and span bed with pretty white sheets, everywhere! And there’s also the wake-up call facility just in case you have chilled way too hard. There are in house doctors (not kidding about the “breathtaking” views) just in case there is a medical emergency and the nearest hospital is about 5 minutes away by car.
We thank Mr. Kevin, General Manager of Daman Ganga Silvassa Resorts - who has been so hospitable and warm to us. We felt and witnessed a personal connection every guest had with him and that is a quality we very much appreciate.
